Electric Bikes

Good Evening, PC Adams here again for some more good news for the community. 

Like our post yesterday, we have been out proactivley policing our area, namely Huddersfield Road, Newhey. PC Horne has spotted two electric bikes which where involved in the pursuit yesterday but unfortunately managed to get away. The bikes were unoccupied.

PC Adams and PC Horne quickly reacted and pounced on both electric bikes and guess what…. they were seized. 

These electric bikes in particular have been causing issues for some time in and around Newhey and actively evading police. 

We appreciate electric bikes are causing massive issues in and around Newhey but like we have promised we are taking proactive action to take these bikes off the roads so they are safer for the law abiding members of our community.
